Cloud computing is becoming reality but are we ready for it and is the technology capable of not only handling the demand but also protecting the information being stored in the clouds.
 
I personally believe that we have a long way togo before Cloud computing is secure enough for everday use, however I also believe that this will happen very quickly just as I believe it will be brought to market too soon and create some major problems for the early takers.
 
Of recent times you have had major banks in Australia show a weakness in the resources available which has resulted in people not being able to access their accounts. While banks have their own resources it is still cloud computing as such as all banks are linked to a central point. So multiply this by the world and have millions accessing a Microsoft cloud ...

Commission vs Bonuses

Commissions only reward staff for sales, the more the staff sell the more they get paid and this can be at any cost to the business, in fact can be very detrimental. Staff will always aim for the highest commission product or up sell whether the customer requires it or not, generally leaving the customer with a bad feeling about the business. Commissions are very easily maintained from an admin perspective so become the main option to reward staff.
 
Bonuses on the other hand reward staff for a range of activities. Bonuses look at the cpomplete picture and a good bonus structure will encourage a good customer relationship and repeat business. It will encourage staff to look at and address all issues with the customer not just the sale.
